Wanneer de BasicLock wordt gebruikt om één van de twee vouwdeuren af te sluiten is het raadzaam om 2 pen protectors op de andere vouwdeur te monteren, om te voorkomen dat deze wordt geopend of geforceerd en zo de extra veiligheid dankzij de BasicLock mist.
