If you want to guarantee your cargo space is locked and secured at all times the BasicLock combined with M-Protects Intelligent Lock Controller (ILS) is the best solution available.
To open the cargo space the driver can use a personal code on the installed keypad or use the M-Protect secured remote control to open the cargo locks.
As soon as the doors are closed the cargo locks will automatically lock themselves, avoiding access to the cargo space and thus cargo theft.
The Intelligent Lock controllers can be configured to match your required security configuration;
- automatic locking of the unopened door in vehicles with two doors to avoid snatch thief through the second door
- individual opening of the locks by programming the remote control buttons individually
- set opening/closing speed
- customize scenario’s to keep doors unlocked during the day and additionally locked after hours
- integrate the lock controller with telematics system to manage access remotely and review access logbook
This solution is ideal for securing access to the loading compartments of light commercial vehicles or box trucks.
Optimized Lock Controllers for BasicLock
The BasicLock is only available in 12v and is controlled by an analogue output (+/-), so the only way to control the BasicLock is by using;
- BasicLock Control
- Intelligent Lock Controller 3, with or without Remote Control (only cargo security)
- Intelligent Lock Controller 5, with or without Remote Control ( Cargo security combined with Ignition control, remotely manageable)
Secure van rear doors
Mounted on the rear door the BasicLock will automatically close and secure the door for being forced from outside.
Secure van sliding doors
Mounted on the cabin wall the BasicLock will automatically close and secure the sliding door from being forced from outside.
Opening trunk lid
Mounted on the opening trunk lid the BasicLock will automatically close and secure the door for being forced from outside.

Keyboard

The keyboard is installed on the dashboard and can also be used to add an additional alarm. You can open the loading compartment by entering your PIN.

In addition to the keyboard, an additional remote control can be used to open the Basic Lock. You can use this when you want to increase user convenience.
Intelligent Lock System
The analogue control unit (ILS) gives the Basic Lock the opening command after correct identification through remote control or through entering a PIN on the keypad
