M-Protect integrates with Securitas Alert Services monitoring
M-Protect has established an integration between its security protocols and the monitoring services of Securitas Alert Services, further strengthening its vehicle and cargo protection offering.
This integration allows customers who have connected their vehicles to a telematics solution to optionally link their fleet to the Securitas monitoring centre, adding an extra layer of security and follow-up.
From detection to monitored intervention
Through this integration, security events detected by M-Protect systems are automatically transmitted to the Securitas monitoring centre. In the event of incidents such as vehicle theft, carjacking, or cargo theft, the monitoring centre can respond immediately and initiate the appropriate procedures.
Securitas operators can support local law enforcement by providing relevant information to help track and recover the vehicle and/or its cargo, ensuring a coordinated response.
Seamless connection with telematics systems
The integration is designed for customers who already use telematics solutions in combination with M-Protect. By linking these systems to the Securitas monitoring platform, an additional layer of centralised monitoring and response is added, without disrupting existing operations.
Optional activation via Block Control Units
The connection with Securitas Alert Services is available as an optional feature for customers using M-Protect’s Block Control Units (BCU). Activation is managed directly by M-Protect and does not require major changes to the existing setup.
Supporting security operations
By combining onboard detection, telematics data and external monitoring, this integration enables a more structured and coordinated response to security incidents, improving overall control and operational efficiency.
