M-Protect integrates LimoLock BCU with Webfleet
M-Protect has further expanded its security capabilities by integrating the full functionality of its LimoLock loading compartment security system with Webfleet.
This integration provides fleet managers with enhanced visibility and control over loading compartment access, combining security, telematics and operational data in one environment.
Full visibility of loading activities
Vehicles equipped with both a LimoLock system and a Webfleet LINK 7X0 communication unit enable fleet managers to monitor all loading and unloading actions in real time.
Through this setup, managers gain a complete overview of when loading compartments are accessed, where the vehicle is located, and which driver is operating the vehicle.
This ensures that every access event can be verified and linked to a specific time, location and driver.
Remote access management
In addition to monitoring, fleet managers can remotely manage access to the loading compartment. This allows them to control and validate whether access is authorised, improving overall security and reducing the risk of misuse or theft.
Integration via BCU and Webfleet.Connect
The solution is powered by the M-Protect Block Control Unit (BCU), which communicates directly with the Webfleet LINK 7X0 device using the Webfleet.Connect protocol.
Security-related data is managed through the M-Protect Security Dashboard, while being fully integrated into the Webfleet interface, ensuring a seamless user experience.
Extended monitoring with Securitas
The solution can also be integrated with the Securitas Monitoring Center, enabling remote monitoring of the full security perimeter. In case of a security incident, this allows immediate follow-up and, if necessary, direct coordination with local law enforcement.
